Children’s
activity coordinator is responsible for all the children’s events during the
gathering. Their responsibility is to
set up a place for the children to meet up for the planned program. Activities
for the children can range from 4 to 16 and should be ones that all can
participate in or can be broken down by age groups. The coordinator should be
ready to start the events on the first day, so the children may get to know
each other and have time to bond with the coordinator. This is a job that will require someone who
can have at least one daily activity time for each group and be able to
encourage parents and others at the gathering to assist. The activities don’t have to expensive, but should
reflect the theme for the gathering.
Using what is available from our gifts that nature provides is a good
way to keep kids busy.
