2019 Keynote Speaker

2019 GOC: Celebrating 25 Years In Spirit: It is EPIC!

It IS epic!, and as part of the celebration, we have invited three past Speakers from the GOC back to speak again this year. All three Speakers are recognized internationally as Elders and deeply connected to Spirit. All three have long histories of walking their talk, and communicating their messages to audiences around the World.

Our very first Speaker, in 1998, was Marcellus “BearHeart” Williams, who passed in 2008 at the age of 90. Our second Speaker, in 1999, was Elizabeth Anne “Beth” Hin, who we are pleased to see again as she was an important spiritual teacher for some of the earliest participants in the GOC.

Beth Hin

“Beth has studied the world’s spiritual and cultural traditions for five decades.  She was mentored by many renowned traditional tribal Elders of several continents, including Moses Peters of the Kutchin Athabascan,  Martha Neck of the Y’upik Eskimo, Thomas and Fermina Banyakya and Dan Evehema of Hopi.  Other beloved Elders have included Jojay and Frances Suazo of Taos Pueblo,  Zulu High Sanusi Credo Mutwa of South Africa, Falasha Rabbi Ambrose Makuwaza of Zimbabwe, Archbishop Menuard ‘Doc’ Slusher,  Vietnamese Thien Abbot Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, and revered scholar Dr. Huston Smith.  Beth was chosen for formal adoption by Seneca Iroquois Grandmother Twylah Nitsch, who named her, ‘She who listens to truth.’  Her late parents,  grandmothers and others, raised her to a code of education, joy of life and moral service for which she is deeply grateful and quietly content.

Through The White Rose Foundation Beth has offered education and service from 1995 to the present in almost fifty nations on all continents except Antarctica, sponsoring lectures, classes, retreats, seminars; participating in conferences;  creating audio recordings; providing scholarships for youth, honoraria for spiritual elders and spiritual leaders throughout the world; and leading service journeys of educational, medical and social support.”

Joyce Anastasia

“For most of my life, Great Spirit has guided me to be an ambassador of peace and healing for our planet.  Although obtaining my dual Master’s degrees in Multicultural Counseling and Fine Arts was very valuable, my greatest learning came through experiencing wisdom teachings in so many aspects of my life work for the past thirty years.  This includes work as a psychotherapist in clinics, orphanages, projects and corporations, as a teacher in elementary schools, colleges and universities, as a transformational leadership consultant here and abroad and as a volunteer for SEED Graduate Institute, the Shift Network, the Thrive movement and numerous other humanitarian organizations.   My work has taken me to many regions of the United States as well as internationally, to the corporate world, to indigenous tribal councils, to the poverty-stricken areas of our nation and in Egypt, Greece, etc.   Through the courageous work of my clients and through my exposure to the generous wisdom teachings throughout the world, I have gained such insight into more humane ways to lead and be in the world.  Summarizing these sacred teachings, I recently published the book Extraordinary Leadership During Extraordinary Times.”

Grandmother Flordemayo

Flordemayo was our Speaker in 2016. She has travelled and spoken internationally, including the Parliament of World Religions, and  is recognized as a spiritual Elder.

Flordemayo is a Curandera Espiritu, or a healer of divine spirit. As a seer, she has the ability to see other realms of color, light, and sound. In addition, she has the ability to see the effects of existing imbalances on the physical, emotional and spiritual realms within a person’s energy system. She was born in highlands of Central America, specifically Nicaragua, and was the youngest of 15 children. She was born under the sign for the seed, in Mayan astrology. Being born under the sign of Q’anil (seed), Flordemayo sees her role as cosmic germinator through teaching, community, manifestation and development. In recent years, she began to explore in-depth the wisdom of the seeds. Their teachings revealed a profound awareness that, like children, the seeds needed a caretaker to pray for their well-being and survival.

In 2012, Flordemayo received a vision during dialogue with the Beloved Mother. In this vision, Flordemayo finds herself sitting in a rocking chair, rocking back and forth while being lovingly guided to prepare seed bundles with prayer. The Beloved Mother had shown a cosmic inspiration for Flordemayo to birth “The Path”, an organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of heirloom and heritage seeds. Now, The Path prepares seed bundles to be given to the parents of babies being born today and those to be born in the future in the dream of honoring and protecting light beings of all forms in this new era of the Divine Feminine.

She is a regular contributor of workshops to The Shift Network.
