There were 14 participants at this years GOC Planning Meeting:

Enrique Hynes announced that he would be sponsoring the Spring Dance March 12th 2013 at his home property
The following suggestion for the 2012 18th annual GOC Theme were voted on:

Bob Love is all is love
After much deliberation and multiple votes and eliminations, the 2012 GOC Theme winner is : “TRASCENDENCE”!
Discussed putting Bob’s theme of “LoveIsAllIsLove” was suggested to incorporate into the T-Shirt design
Long sleeve vs. Short sleeve on the T-Shirts was brought up, discussed, however, a vote was not taken because it gave way to the
lack of time discussion on getting the T’ Shirt designed, manufactured and sold before August.
Cliff told Donna to take care of it and send it to him so he could approve it ASAP.
The
following people volunteered to call GOC community members for T-Shirt sales:

The position of Speaker Coordinator was brought up, the speaker originally booked for this year will not be able to make it so it was suggested that he might be a good speaker for the 2013 GOC., And the possibility of “upping the speaker stipend to $600. Since he would have to travel from Hawaii and also because last year’s speaker became ill and unable to attend so that $300 stipend was not given out. At this time Brett Messer made a personal pledge of $200 to help with Jeffery’s travel expenses from Hawaii in 2013.
It was suggested that Cliff talk to last year’s scheduled speaker Virginia “Nightsun Viles” to see if she would be able to fill the speaker position this year.
It was decided that the Speaker would receive the first time slot of the day, and then the coordinators would speak in the second slot to assure a full audience for them.

The time, expense and practicality of mailing out a brochure to everyone on the GOC list past and present was discussed. Many of the brochures are coming back because we don’t have an administrator to keep our addresses, physical and E-mail updated in the system. Cliff voiced he liked mailing out on paper and that sometimes the” paper in hand’ would be the difference of someone attending or not. While some people agreed, the time and expense factor was discussed and it was decided that this is the last year we will mail out to those who have an E-mail address listed with the GOC. It was also decided that we would mail out postcards instead of a brochure this year to cut expense and labor. We would put on the postcard to update their E-mail address on the GOC website because this is our last “physical mail out”.
At this point people started to disburse so Shawna Hayhurst called for Closing Prayer
