T-Shirt sales is one way that we create funds for GOC expenses like firewood, port-a-potties, printing costs for the brochures, web costs, speaker stipends, etc. So help make your donation dollars go farther and get something for you. These make great gifts and make great replacements for past years t-shirts that may be frayed by now. Remember, GOC T-Shirts are a super way to advertise the GOC experience! Click here.

  Speaker for 2012

We are blessed and honored to have both Uqualla and his sister Dianna Whitedove to address us this year!

UQUALLA

I am a member of the Havasupi Tribe (people of the blue-green waters).

Born into a family with a Medicine Man Grandfather, Arthur Kaska. My mother, the daughter of Kioska, was given the knowledge of the traditional ways—hunts, deer tanning, gourd making, singing and dances, my mother passed these gifts to her children.

The ancestral ways have provided the themes for many speaking engagements. All of life’s events are the reflection of the worlds people at large. They key is to interpret the meanings appropriate to the times and ages.

The ethereal art of Coyote Telling is ages old and performed in tribal settings of canyon, cave, mountain and desert. Ceremonial Theater is the medium of expression.

As a recognized ceremonial entity, spiritual advisor, I am called to officiate unions, birth, blessings and healings. Tools of the spirits, eagle feathers, bones, medicine plants, drums, gourds, fire, water, assist in the needed healings, awakenings and transformations. Some call me a medicine man, sage, storyteller, wisdom keeper and priest.

My journey has blessed me with the divine meetings of spiritual leaders, tribally, nationally and globally. My Sacred Oratory, a lecture, is heard through out Japan, Europe, South America, and the United States.

I invite you to join me in this life of experience. I am your companion in this walk.

Prayer from Beth Hin

2 July, Guru Purnima 2012

Friends,

May the grace of God, Yahweh, Elohim, Our Father, Our Mother, The Dharmakaya, That Great One, Allah, Parvargidar, Brahman, Vishnu, Shiva, Mahavira and all of the Arhats and Siddhas, T’ien, The Kami, Wahe Guru, Ahura Mazda, and all that humanity has named, does or will name, as Holy, protect, bless and guide the young women and men of the era. May the ancestors of all faiths who stand sacred and noble protect, bless and guide them. May the angels. May all Saints of all Faiths. May that which is sacred and true within all of humanity. May the sacred within all animals and plants, within all of creation throughout the Universe.

May the forms which are needed as the translation points of their souls into modern forms of family, relationship, community, education, livelihood, creative expression, travel, and daily living be revealed to them, so that they are able to dwell in grace and ease. May the purpose for which each of the young women and men of the era has incarnated be fully realized on Earth as it is in Heaven. May they be protected and guided to the length of their days in health, prosperity, contentment, sacred meaning, and truth. May they realize, know, and be ever held in Divine love.

Always,

Beth

Welcome to the Gathering of Circles. This annual event is sponsored and supported by various individuals and circles of people in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, California, Colorado, Virginia, and other states who wish to get together and share ideas, ceremonies, spirituality, talents, and friendship. These events include, but are not limited to, various workshops, face painting, world-class pancake breakfast, children's activities, sweat lodges, "Sweet Medicine Dance", Give-A-Way, and feast. We gather on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM for the opening pipe ceremony and introductions. Thursday morning is usually dedicated to introductions and our featured speaker. Afterwards, we provide an itinerary of the various activities for the weekend. Thursday afternoon and Friday morning are scheduled workshops. Separate Men and Women's sweat lodges will be held Thursday night, and a co-ed sweat will be available on Friday night after the "Sweet Medicine Dance". Saturday morning we will all gather again for the Give-A-Way ceremony and feast. Saturday night we will have a drum/song event and sweat lodge. Sunday morning we will have a short pipe closing ceremony and time to clean up, packup and head home, We should be ready to leave the area by 10:00 a.m.

Give-a-way   Bring a gift wrapped in a paper bag for the *give-a-way.* This should be something of significance (meaningful) to you, which you now want to relinquish your attachment to, and let pass on to a new keeper. The size or monetary value of this item is irrelevant but the more significant to you the better. It may be symbolic of something of yourself, which you have or wish to turn loose of so that your *hands* are freed up for your present pursuits. Listen to your heart in deciding what to *give-a-way* at this time.
