This
workshop is designed to be an energetic, fun, experience in chanting, singing
and dancing. All of the songs, etc. are easy to learn and spring primarily
from members of the Earth Tribe (our psycho-spiritual community).
Participants will have an opportunity to learn new songs/dances/chant and share theirs
too. "The song I’m going to sing to introduce Will is entitled "Son Of Red Earth". It is a song that was birthed out of one of his vision quests."

Using stories from Inuit, Borneo and other cultures we explore the beauty and power of Community. This will be an interactive workshop. Let us map our way to community through these stories of the Wise Ones who came before us. Steve is an ordained minister and keeper of stories. He has held workshops and spoken throughout New England, New York, California and Arizona sharing his insights on stories old and new. With his incredible wife, Resa, he performs as "Brother Sun, Sister Moon." Steve & Resa Ferreira, 1744 E. Coronado Rd.,
Phoenix, AZ 85006, (602) 495-8837 H, (602) 509-4262 C "The
Half-Boy" This story
from Borneo contains ancient truths about community. The young need the elders
as much as the elders need the young. Without the youth there is no celebration
of life's journey and without the elders there is no one to point the way.

If you
feel that you are at a crossroads in your life or if you have questions about
the intent and purpose for your life, then you may benefit from a Vision Quest.
What is my life purpose? What are my gifts? What am I supposed to be
bringing to the world to make it better? These are some general questions
that a Vision Quest may help answer, but you may have more specific questions
that you want to address while Questing. Mike Andrews,

Create, play...play and connect with "All My Relations". This workshop will include "The way of the flute"; share what each of us may know, it's history, origin and how it can manifest into prayer and ceremony. We will make our flutes from flute kits, with holes and tuning already in the kit. We will decorate with feathers, paint, totems...anything you may find dear or close to your heart. I was given this gift, some 6 years ago. I have been a musician of sorts for 40 years plus. My connection with the flute has changed my life and my connection to spirit in ways I could never have imagined. I've been told in vision to take this gift and to share with others. I look forward to meeting you all; and sharing this wonderful gift. If you have ever had a wanting or calling to this wonderful instrument...please attend. Michael Broyles, 108 Lower Hondo Seco Rd.,
Hondo, NM 87513, (505) 776-2015 H

Flores is best known for her “Fire work” during the Gathering of Circles
Sweet Medicine Dance. She is from San Antonio Texas and is a drummer for the
Rainbow Tribe Drum Clan guided by Virgie Ravenhawk and Debbie Drumhawk. This
is her first workshop for the Gathering of Circles attendees and in this
workshop she is presenting information regarding Lunar Cycles and how each phase
within the 28 day cycle will affect ones life physically and spiritually. This
workshop will also teach the student how to create a lunar calendar to help in
recognizing each moon phase and its affects upon the individual. She
will also be available at the Rainbow Tribe Drum Clan campsite for meetings with
those interested in learning more about Lunar Cycles as well as “Fire work”
healing and the energies of the Fire Spirit. I have been teaching about lunar cycles and how they affect daily lives for about 9 years. This workshop will be an introduction into understanding the various phases of the lunar cycle and how each phase affects mother earth and her inhabitants regarding they physical, spiritual and economical health. I will introduce a lunar calendar and demonstrate how the student can create one for themselves for personal use. Chris Flores, 14215 Short Horn Street, San Antonio, TX 78247, (210) 590-1936
