Gathering Of Circles
2003
Updated 05/07/2003

The following designs have been submitted for this years T-shirt logo and will be considered by the planning committee.

Important !  Experience has taught us that some parameters must be followed if we are to make a good T-shirt design. First, a maximum of four colors must be used to make it economical. Second, the design must be on an 8.5 x 11 paper so that it can be easily scanned. This year we will be doing color separation by computer to help reduce the cost.

Remember that these drawings are rough drafts and could appear differently on the t-shirts.

Drawing # 1 Submitted by JJ Hamilton:

My thoughts of Past and future gatherings are of beautiful BLUE skies, bright YELLOW sunrises, brilliant RED sunsets and flames of red and yellow from our fire at the Ceremonial Dance on Saturday night. Green is the mountains, valleys and tall whispering pine trees that I love. I've outlined my design in BLACK which represents the magic and mysteries that we all pass through on our pathways everyday.

Please come and join us in a time of JOY and CELEBRATION in Cloudcroft this year in 2003!

Drawing # 2 Submitted by Donna Kirby:

Earth, Water, Air and Fire appears the brightest at this time. Fire gives us heat and lights the way of the Future and the Past. The TREE may burn, but it's ashes give new life for the trees in the Future. Nature takes it's course, but WE MUST be ever vigilant to protect and care for the environment. The Mandela's Coloring Book by Susanne F. Fincher and my love of trees inspired me to draw this design. (Mandala #45).

A shift from chaos to transformative wisdom, a re-ordering of all that was broken, a coming together of all that went before, a time of profound joy, when you feel perfectly in step with the cosmic dance.

Drawing # 3  Submitted by Sherri Young:

Attainment in this new millennium can only come from having already had the Stamina (elk) to go the distance thus far, giving thanks thru Prayer (buffalo) for the Abundance in our lives, the ability to Transform (butterfly) into a higher, more brilliant self - all of these offer great Power (horse) that we have each gained thru Understanding. To continue our individual journeys, we must recognize these gifts we already have, give thanks, and then continue to use them. Of course Grandfather Sun and Grandmother Moon watch over us while we are blanketed by the beauty of Father Sky and cradled in the arms of Mother Earth, the beautiful Mountain.

Drawing # 4  Submitted by Sherri Young:

Spirit in Motion. We can attain nothing without Spirit. I used black to represent not only the West, but also the Void where Answer lives. Yellow for the East and illumination and clarity. Red for the innocence found in the South position, Pink for Love, White for the wisdom of the North and Blue for Spirit. Simple hearts easily recognized as a symbol of love to honor the Four Directions and a sense of movement to remind us all that Life does not stand still. Attainment requires forward motion.

Drawing # 7  Submitted by Carol Dawn:

As individual circles and groups of circles we come together to the center. We enter the gateway... together. We then spiral outward again -taking with us the teachings, knowledge, compassion ... love, beauty, and colors of life ... all we have gathered on our journeys. We take everything outward to every dimension of our world and other worlds. We disperse into the symphony of the universe with our personal melodies..
