"Moldavite Mike" (AKA Mike Two Bears)
Assisted by Cliff Buchanan (Shamanic Journey)

Friday 1:00 pm - 03:00 pm

We will use different minerals, crystals, and stones to see how we react to each one. Each person will determine their responses to different stone energies. We will do some exercises to differentiate between three different types of glass-like tektite meteorites.  I will use Tibetan Tektites to clear volunteers' charkas.

Cliff and I will facilitate a Shamanic Drumming Journey allowing you to travel with the aid of a crystal provided for the duration of the workshop. If you have journeyed previously, perhaps this will be a new experience for you. If not, notice how the crystal interacts with your journey. We will explore the potential of healing and forgiveness in the non-ordinary realms of creation, including the cosmic realms. Techniques for maintaining health during the journey will be discussed prior to the journey.

Crystals and stones have called me to use them this past year and I have set up a business, El Salto Crystals. I have a wide assortment of stones that have different energies and can recommend to people what they might want to use for a specific application. I also have a set of Quartz crystals that can be used in energetic and spiritual healing. I will be available to work with people individually at no charge so I can get more experience.

Tony Beauregard & Petra Reynolds

Thursday 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

What is communication and how does it impact ourselves and those around us? Are we impeccable with our word? Are we honest? Do we actually say what we mean?

While communication seems like such a simple thing, it is not. The way one communicates often leads to misunderstanding and confrontation.

This workshop will present concepts of communicating in a clear and non-threatening manner, with honesty and integrity.

"Intro to Relationship Building"
Tony Beauregard & Petra Reynolds

Friday 09:00 am - 11:00 am

Our continuing quest to improve interpersonal relationships and finding ways to make ourselves understood in an honest and clear manner. We want to share the things that we have learned and that have worked for us.

"Munay-Ki"
Cliff Buchanan

Thursday 03:30 pm - 05:30 pm

The Munay-Ki are a series of nine energetic transmissions or “rites”, that heal and transform our human energy field into that of "Homo Luminous" – one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature.

The Munay-Ki comes from a Quechua word that means “I love you” or “Be as thou art.” The Munay-Ki are the nine rites of initiation to become a person of wisdom and power who has accepted the stewardship for all creation. The nine rites are common to all shamanic traditions, even though they are expressed in different forms and styles in different cultures. They derive from the great initiations from the Hindus Valley that were brought to the Americas by the first medicine men and women who crossed the Bering Straits from Siberia during the glacial period some 30,000 years ago. These courageous travelers were the Laika, the Earthkeepers of old.

We will view the DVD:  Munay-Ki: The Hero’s Journey by Alberto Villoldo, PhD.
See:  www.Munay-Ki.org

Cliff Buchanan, Mike Andrews, and Brett Messer completed the nine rites from Charles Conatser of Lubbock in July 2010 which began in October 2009. The rites are currently being given in Abilene at Shawna Mitchell's healing center. Cliff plans to initiate the series in September in Odessa TX with Charles facilitating.

There will be a Munay-Ki Fire Ceremony from 07:00 to 7:30 pm Thursday.  Open to all. Fire provides the avenue to let go of the old story and drama, to  transform, to renew and to be reborn. Through fire ceremony, you honor your lessons and old belief structures by placing them in the fire and turning them over to Spirit. By releasing these old patterns and beliefs into the fire, you heal deeply at the level of the soul without having to experience them at the literal and physical levels.

Provided by Jazz Jaeschke

The GOC labyrinth is an archetypal pattern that has defined sacred space for over 4000 years – integral to many cultures including Native American, Greek, Celtic, and Mayan.

Labyrinth geometry is a metaphor for life’s journey.  The path takes you to center, but along the way it’s hard to judge your progress and how much further you must go. Labyrinths are also a meditation tool.  Walking the labyrinth requires attention to where your feet fall, creating a meditative state that enhances concentration on prayers or concerns held in your heart.

The GOC labyrinth is self-guided.  You’ll find the flag waving in a meadow at the end of the primary road through the campsites [the road lined with port-a-potties]. This site was selected to offer a quiet experience with few distractions. When you visit the GOC labyrinth, please run your fingers through the vessel of stones.  In doing so you blend your energy with that of those who have walked before you and leave your energy for those who will follow.  If you’d like, take a stone with you to remember your walk.
