Thursday night through Sunday noon

Over the last several years many people have been working very deeply on their inner selves and enlightenment. Many spiritual teachers are claiming that we are moving towards a universal consciousness and enlightenment, and that it is time to recognize and share our unique places in the universe. This is the last Spring of the century! We invite you to celebrate this universal movement as we approach the new millenium.

Arrive Thursday evening to set up camp and get ready for the weekend.

Friday morning: Opening Pipe Ceremony will begin Friday morning facilitated by

Pamela Lightsong Scheler. Following opening ceremonies Drumsong will present the Aggie Shuffle (no hints, you just have to be there).

Friday afternoon: Mandala Workshop presented by Drumsong (Pamela, Brett and

Cliff). As a preliminary exercise to move ourselves into that universal space we will embark on a Shamanic Journey with the drum and/or crystal ball to the upper world. You will return to create an expression of your journey through a mandala, shield, or banner. Materials will be provided, but we encourage you to bring any special items or decorations that you may wish to use or share with others in the workshop.

Friday evening: Sweat lodge. The sweat lodge ceremony is a purification of the mind

and body. It reminds us of the relationship of all beings and helps to bind us together as one Spirit. Wear loose comfortable clothing such as a large T-shirt and shorts or swimsuit. Bring a towel to sit on. Bring sacred objects to place on the altar.

Saturday morning: African Drum Workshop presented by everyone. Bring drums,

rattles, noisemakers of every kind! Learn history and rhythms of the African Drum. There will be drums available to buy.

Saturday afternoon: Time to visit, hang-out, continue to work on your mandala, paint

your face and prepare for the dance. Body practitioners are invited to offer their services such as massage, rolfing, Reiki, aroma therapy, Chakra alignment, Iridology, etc. Practitioners will determine their fee. Make plans to pamper yourself!

Saturday evening: Spring Dance! This ceremonial dance will begin at dusk. African

Drums, rattles, bells, and noisemakers of every kind will set the stage for a night of joyful dancing and celebration! Dress up, paint your face, wear special jewelry, bring your bells, rattles and drums or anything that makes you feel like dancing!

Sunday morning: Planting the Seed. A ceremony of new beginnings. Bring a seed to

plant (anything you like). Breaking the Pipe ceremony.

Sunday noon: Feast. Bring your favorite dish or pot luck to share with the group.

One shared cabin is available at $25 per night. Sleeps 6, 3 double beds. Camping is available. RV hookups are available. An indoor building is available if it rains. We should be so lucky! Please plan to spend the entire weekend with us. The whole weekend is an integrated process you won't want to miss!

Disclaimer: No ceremony we perform should be construed to be a traditional Native

American ceremony.
